In Q4 2022, the top 5 navigation and maps applications on iOS in Europe showcased varied performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals key insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 444K to 605K. Active users fluctuated between 68M and 73M, showcasing a slight decline towards the end of the quarter. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic exhibited consistent download numbers, peaking at about 173K in the last week of December. Active users hovered around 11M to 12M, with a notable increase in mid-December. Similar to Google Maps, Waze did not report any revenue.
